Re-enrolment in thesis
Step 1 - Academic Re-registration
Academic re-registration is mandatory and must be completed online between June 23 and Septembre 19, 2025 on the website amethis3.unistra.fr
For re-registration in D2, the following documents must be uploaded to Amethis:
- the certificate of completion for the Scientific integrity MOOC,
- your individual training agreement (CIF) signed by all the parties (without this document no re-registration cannot be considered!),
- proof of funding clearly indicating the funding source, the monthly amount and the duration,
- your individual monitoring committee (CSI) report,
For re-registration in D3, upload the following documents to Amethis:
- a certificate confirming all completed training courses (available on Amethis),
- the updated CIF, validated by your doctoral school director (in case of any changes),
- your CSI report, signed by all parties,
- proof of funding, indicating the source, monthly amount and duration.
The following documents must be uploaded to Amethis
- a letter of justification from the thesis director (explaining the delay, progress of the research, and expected defense date),
- a certificate for all training courses (available on Amethis),
- the updated CIF, validated by your doctoral school director (if there have been changes),
- a new CSI report, signed by all parties, if the defense is scheduled after December 31,
- proof of funding, indicating the source, monthly amount and duration,
- the special exemption request form,
Note: special exemptions are approved, after review of each file, by the relevant Doctoral Training Committee.
Doctorat candidates defending their thesis between October 1 and December 31 must re-register, but will not be required to pay tuition fees.
Documents to submit:
- the jury proposal (including the defense date) validated by the Doctoral Training Committee,
- the registration request form with fee exemption,
- proof of funding,
- for exact sciences only: a thesis summary with a list of publications and communications (templates available by request at ed.sciences@uha.fr).
Step 2 - Administrative re-registration
If you are re-registering (i.e., you were already registered at UHA in 2024-2025), you can do it online.
- Before registering at Université de Haute-Alsace, you must pay the student life and campus contribution (CVEC) and obtain your CVEC certificate and code. This mandatory fee is 105€.
- Complete your registration online : Registration
The online payment of tuition fees is done at the end of the registration process. Before starting, have the following ready:
- your student number (fund on your student card),
- your CVEC code (on your CVEC certificate),
- a valid credit card,
- a valid email address to receive the payment confirmation. - Once registration is complete, you must upload the required documents listed on your registration summary via the link PJ Web portal (available from July 1 to July 25, 2025 and again from August 18 to September 30, 2025 only).
- A registrar will verify your information and validate your registration if everything is complete. You will receive:
- an automatic notification at your @uha.fr email address
- a registration certificate sent by postal mail.
